Fuzion Division At Xtreme Wheels

I don't want to post this in the regular forums.. yet. Just want some honest opinions from people on here. Virginia wanted to know honestly what I felt about fuzion part at XW... so i sent her this:

Honestly, I couldn't give a for sure reason one way or the other, and I'll tell you why. Fuzion, as a whole, I just do not like. They have sent me 5 of their older products (the same that XW had/has for sale?) and they broke really easily for me and they were obviously designed for carving and not to be ridden on a trick level. They have been developing new products and a long the way have been doing really good things for riders, flying them to competitions, and donating much merchandise and whatnot, but overall most people just see them as a joke. I have spoken to other riders on this and for the past year and a half or so they have had many big plans and have actually been following through with them, and they continue to sponsor scooter competitions. But of course, in an effort, to push their product into our faces. I, along with others, have kind of been just "tolerating" fuzion in an effort that maybe they will make better products that I might like, or maybe even scooters someday. But for myself, I really just do not like them as a whole with their advertising that is obviously trying to get you to get rid of your scooter, and ride a fuzion. It is advertising, but I hate seeing it at what I thought were our scooter competitions. I mean if it were completely up to me, and it would not really affect the other people attending (riders that Nextsport may be flying out who plan on entering the scooter part and the fuzion part), then I would for sure take out that division. I just don't know whether or not it is worth it to have them there. The way I see it is like either

A. Let them have their silly part with hardly anyone actually watching/caring about it and accept the donations for prize boxes and whatnot from them (of course putting down razor style scooters, or just promoting their own). Get to ride with people, have a bigger turnout for the scooter part of the competition from riders that they fly in for free.
B. Just not have to deal with fuzion at all, have a strictly scooter competition. Sure we may not have a few extra riders or prizes we won't really use anyway, but they are not there with all that stuff that we shouldn't have to worry about at a scooter competition.

I don't know if i've made my points clear, but I really don't know if we should keep it or not. I don't know if the positives that fuzion bring to the competition outweigh the negatives, or if I'm being like in-sensitive to riders who won't be able to ride XW if their sponsor is not going to the competition. I just can't take a for sure stance either way. Again, if it affected no one else, I would say for sure to have them out haha.

Thanks for listening, and thanks a ton for mentioning the show thing the night before to the promoter, it means a lot.

All out honesty, they do nothing to help 2 wheeled scooters, so why should we do anything to help them? They can make and arrange their own competitions at their own parks if they want one that bad, they need to stop stealing ours. A few people were actually boo-ing fuzion at the SD comp when they had their session. Fuck fuzion, end of story.

I got myself banned.
The NX is cool, but its not 2 wheels, and shouldn't be at our competition. All they do is buy their way into competitions after we get them organized by throwing in prizes to get their lame competition that everyone entered just to fuck around (they sponsored on bronze for fucking around too haha).

I say tell them no thanks.

"Thanks for reading*, ..."

I agree with Kenny. They do nothing to help 2-wheeled scooters when it comes to competitions, BUT although it doesn't mean that Fuzion isn't that useless. Fuzion brings in their own new riders who will see a bigger potential in the scene of 2-wheeled scooters so they will transfer from Fuzions to 2-wheelers.

But as for the comps, I wouldn't have Fuzion class.

Btw, just wondering, what if somebody wanna ride his custom truck scooter? Would that be in fuzion class or normal?
