Not to harp on everyone again but the success of the tour is entirely up to everyone on these forums to support your fellow riders and the sport. We've put the time and money behind everything but we cannot force you to show up.
I apologize for not being able to stay the entire competition but I had personal obligations to tend to. I showed up to meet those of you whom I haven't before and stay in contact with the riders that I have met in the past. We don't have much to gain from the tour other than to meet some of the top riders in the sport- unfortunately as you've put it if anything ever goes wrong we have to take the entire blame.
We can only do so much promoting but it's much more effective if the entire community showed some support and went out and reached those riders that we can't. Word of mouth goes a long way and hopefully in future years to come riders will be able to put aside their differences and show up for the pure enjoyment of it. Yes it is a competition at the core but these are also organized events that you can meet new riders or old friends and just have fun riding together.
Judging is never going to be entirely fair to everyone- that's why we have 3 judges at every event that rank each rider. Overall, it seems that all 3 judges liked Anthony's run better than Erik's. No harm, no foul and hopefully at the next event he'll do better.
To answer your other question ALL winners (1-3) in each division will need to contact us at team@nextsport.com to receive their cash purses.
