I got myself banned.
Damn yo, I had the clear purple Gameboy Color, I think I got it for Christmas with Tetris DX. Can't remember when I got Pokemon Blue, but I did, and played it religiously and completed the game 100% (including legit Mew). Never really got into any other Gameboy games though.

I have a Gameboy Color. Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Emerald, and Peral. I'm very proud of my collection.
had pokemon red, a gameboy pocket and zelda. Zelda was too hard, you since i was six, so i switched to pokemon. I clocked over 100 hours on red alone, but that wasnt the end. I begged for blue, followed by silver, followed by crystal, and a gameboy color. Time was on my side as i traded from my green pocket to the color using the official pokemon link cord, which was shit btw. I completed all of these games, collected cards, traded them as drug deals in school, and was a true pokemon master, as well as my childhood is in remembrance of pikachu of Ash Ketchup, RIP <3

On blue/red/yellow you had to get it straight from Nintendo at an official event, they would trade it to you. The other way would be to use gameshark to get it, or get a friend to use gameshark and have him trade it to you.

no dude i knew this glitch i did you go to cerulean and you save in the grass and have abra out. then you go to fight some fisherman guy and as soon as you stop and he sees you you press start and teleport with abra back to the pokecenter. then you have to walk up through that line of trainers and battle youngster josh i think. then after you beat him teleport back to the pokecenter. as before, walk back up the bridge and all of the sudden you will stop and battle mew. good god how did i remember that from 5 years ago haha

Thats pretty wild haha. I remember hearing a bunch of random glitches to get him. There was on that involved that ship, SS Anne or whatever, swimming past it to some patch of land, and there was a truck there and if you used push on it mew world appear or something but it wasn't legit.

yeah i remember the glitch on cinnabar island i think it was called well whatever it was it was when you swam on the edge and would catch like lvl 142 machamps and shit and then there was the glitch missingo and if you caught it it would fuck shit up on your game haha great memories.
