Actually, he was pointing out that Tyler's logic was good. You are just looking to point out negativity.

Not at all.

This is called confirmation bias.

It's usually private security companies that give us trouble for riding in the shopping center carparks and stuff.

Usually if they are nice we just move on and go back later, but there is this short guy and he is a real dick. He comes up and starts telling us how his brother rides BMX and that if we rode BMX he would let us stay but because we ride scooters and skateboards we have to leave. Usually whenever he comes over to us we jump in the car and light em up when he is coming over, then just fly off and yell shit at him. Nobody likes him, hopefully he quits soon.

I'm over it. You're nitpicking.
Go through my posts. I've made 3 or 4 negative sport / site ones, and they've all been completely reasonable.

Back on topic before I started getting real pissed.

Theres only a few spots around me where cops will come give you a hard time. Other than that people just tell you to leave or theyre calling the cops, or they say they already called the cops. Theres 3 pretty sick spots though that we never get bothered at. Cops even drive by 2 of the spots on a daily basis.

I've been chased by the state patrol for riding capitol property, but all i have to do is split away from my black friend and they chase after him.

I always ride the same spots. 3 stair at my old elemantary school, this little place by a dentist, and this group of really nice houses. I get kicked out of the 3 stair and houses sometimes... i just respect them and leave.. usually apologize

When you get the "I'm sorry you can't play here" line, what do you say? I got into an argument with my local co-op manager because I was riding the ledge in their loading bay, and I basically said when I lorry comes I'll move. Then he was going on about health and safety so I told him to put up a disclaimer, and long story short I'm now banned. Do you just ride away, or argue? Post up stories.

I feel for you kids and was a kid many moons ago but now I'm adult with a business and Insurance- Putting a Disclaimer does absolutely nothing to protect me from some moron who wants to sue me because their kid got hurt on my property.

Now my Insurance will most likely cover the claim BUT after we make a claim, my insurance will go up so this is why businesses don't want skate boards, scooters, bikes riding around on the property.

Anyhooo- as most everyone seems to suggest, just move on. Sucks but not much you can do- Even if you come across an asshole just move on because in the end the Cops will side with the Property owner and you just end up getting detained or hassled

Tyler, I said enough of that. You didnt say anything to keep it going, but just let it die and stay on previous pages please.

Thats what kids dont realize. They try to be badass and try to speak up for themselves and other riders, but heres the deal with cops and this is all information from a conversation I had with a cop at a street spot. He told us to be careful and dont piss anyone off because as far as hes concerned he doesnt care about us riding there. He told us that when cops come up and bust your balls real hard or a couple of them show up at once, it means they most likely got a call about you riding there. When a cop gets a call its their job to take care of it, so if someone calls and complains about you riding somewhere and then they see a cop come up and kick you out, that cop did their job. If they see the cop come up, say something and then just let you keep riding, he can get in trouble for not doing his job. Bottom line is that we may not be riding on the polices property, but its also not our property. So if you get kicked out, repsect it, understand that the cops only doing his job, find new spots and come back in a few days. Respect will get you further than trying to be a badass in these situations.

But of course there are those occasions where some cops just hate life and everything about it so they decide to take it out on you.
