Getting Some 1 Piece Bars Made, Need Help...Dimensions, Material, etc.

OK, Well it is going to be a bit of a problem trying to get some rads over to the lil ol' UK. So I would like to get some made.

So I would like to know some dimensions of the tubing I need to use.

e.g inside diameter, thickness of material, what material type, like what chro-moly and so on. And also a close up pic of your rads or own 1 piece bars. Also, which style should I opt for, the V1 or V2.

Thanks for any help.

And to RAD Scooters, I am not trying to rip you off and won't be selling any, these are purely for myself (only information of where they were made will be given to my team). I know RAD scooters are having a few problems with their 1 1/2 or 2 1/2 team (I can't remember which).

Also to Rad Scooters, if you have had a change of heart and will get some rads over to the UK, let me know :D.

Many threads about this
all i can say is 4130 chromoly and measure your stock bars.

I have found plenty of threads on RADs, just not measurements, I can only get a few of the measurements I need from my stock set-up.

I need some more answers about the material and design and so on.

Uhhh.... I hope this is not a old thread and i'm bumping it crazy. I did not have internet for a while due to some crap...

Dom , I got my 1 piece bars made of aluminium. They hold up for my riding now as I don't think i'm very hard on my scooter. If you can't find 4130 chromoly , try other materials like what I did.

In the future as my skills improve , I will reinforce my bars with maybe PVC pipe or something. PVC is cheap , light , should be strong enough if you get something thick.

Good luck! Make sure the welded area is welded by someone who knows how to weld.

your not bumping anything, if you look at the top of your post and other peoples post there is a date of the post. just check the last persons post date before you post if you think youre bumping. and all threads are ordered in the forum from newest post so any on the top half of the first first page is usually safe. and even if your are bumping a thread its all good if your post is meaningful
