the government (us at least) has been debating net neutrality for awhile now, it's still up in the air. this is very real, and could be a very huge problem.

but i'm just imagining the huge nerd march on washington if it ever happened and how awesome it'd be.

well its the same, but for the internet. like google would be basic, but if you want to use youtube, you pay more.

to just be like 'naaawww its not happening' is the source of why theres pleanty of fuckeed up things in the world. you should not be given information by people who have nothing to earn from giving that information and people who CLEARLY GIVE A SHIIT and then just pass it off. especially when the actual governemt is discussing it.

i dont think anyone will ever really know the whole story, the internet is generating an assload of money as it is now anyways and i think the government knows that.

yea we discussed this shit in class a while ago. It's bullshit that they are even thinking about getting rid of net neutrality; that totally defeats the whole purpose of the internet..

its so unsettling and out there that its literally unbelievable. thats why i dont believe it. even if it was attempted, it wouldn't work. people would do something about it. and yes, people would care more about the internet then the starving kids in third world countries.

and i admit i do need to research this further.
