whatever you do, dont forget wheel spacers so the wheel doesnt rub against the sides. and i think if you do that you should reinforce with circle tubing on each side.

i think it looks great but you should put a rod on each side goin through the sides up into the top of the fork

they will bend in. nice try though

not 100% true till u actualy had a protype to test that on, if it machined with different materials for protypes i beat you would find a set to hold up,but the cost would be very high to start the project off

also its just a rough idea tony so maybe if he put a flat stainless sheet of 2mm metal on each side of the fork front & back to sort box it in, then cut away where your wheel needs to be on both sides it wouldnt bend or fold in

yeah ill prob try to reinforce the 2 angled tubes and i will use wheel spacers

i dont like the idea of spacers on forks, but it is the only cost effective way to go around not having machine to do so on, i tryed by hand machine it doesnt work correctly

the name Gnar scooters sounds sick, so better live up to the name to suit the bussiness/hobby :)

scootersonly wheel spacers as in washers to prevent the fork from rubbing on the wheel and damaging it.

yes i understand, machine process of punching out the axle space as normal pro forks & micro forks have isnt possible to most with out large cost, so simple spacers are used like inwards do, remeber SR forks didnt use spacers, like stock forks dont

i tryed by hand press machine you cant prime it hard enough to push the metal out with out wrecking it, need hydrolic machine to do so

stock forks do have wheel spacers? and sr forks dont b/c there is nothing to rub against.

ive never seen stock forks with a spacer on each side, only sum suspension forks, stock pro forks & micro forks have a punch out design a built in spacer, its just part of the design, same with SR forks, other wise your wheel would still rub on the side legs

i no what your talking about my inward forks have it all it is there for is to make a lil space between the fork and the wheel so they dont rub
