good/bad shutter speed photos

1/800 is overkill. 1/200 is a lot better. 1/800 is only gonna give you a decent image if it's outside perfect sunlight with vibrant colors (basically, there's no need). Also, one body flash will get you no where towards good lighting. Your pictures are decent, but you should definitely work on exposure and composition. Other than that, this should help a few people.

dude, 1/800 is a good shutter speed TRUST ME my friend who owns any one at photography on this site told me that so i listen to him...and yeah i know i need to work on exposure and composition and i'm getting new flashes like i said 2 replys ago...

I'm not saying that 1/800 is bad, I'm saying that you gotta have super prime light to get a decent image from it.
And...No offense but that Dane guy has nothing on Martin. Some of his best comps have visible flashes. Blechhh!!!

dude, are you retarded? how is 1/60 the universal flash shutterspeed. i use 1/500 during mid day with flashes. thats the only way to make photos even half way decent.

None of you know anything. you need to freeze motion thats all thats important. yea and im sure im have bad comps even though i work for many skateboard companies and magazines. none of you have any idea what your talking about.

So your saying that the only thing in photography is to make the motion frozen? So you could have kept the lens cap on and yet, it's still good, because you froze motion. Freeze motion is a kind of photography not a rule of it.

haha. yea dude im saying thats all thats important. when your shooting subjects that are moving thats whats important. i dont really care what you think, you just dont know what your talking about. i could care less what scooter photographers think, none of you are any good. i shoot all kinds of photography and love photography and know a hell of alot more about it then most of you and trying to help you out. so later bro. thanks for "scootin" at the SKATEBOARD park.

does martin get sponsored my companys to take photos and yes the guy is just photoshop omg you can't make a pic look that good without photoshop and dane is a really good photographer i think he's better than martin and Dane is the shit for taking the time to sign up for this site to tell all you off... and i just sent him then link not to get on it damm...

1.Being sponsored means NOTHING when it comes to whos better.
