- Blue FLIK Grip Tape 4.5 Wide (Cut down .5 inch to fit deck)

I was going to get a lucky shorty brake, but its like $30.. Hopefully the razor brake doesn't rattle to much. Like I said, Im a beginner. I'm not going to be extremely rough on it, probably Bar spins, Tailwhips, 360's, Grind's.. As long as it last's me a good 6 months (until I probably upgrade) without getting severely damaged.

Please tell me if there is any parts I MUST get for the Ultra pro.

headset, more axles, and metalcore wheels with bearings

the headset, no matter what, unless if you are a professional with working on threaded headsets, get a simple threadless headset, they will absolutely fine with threaded forks, i used the use threaded forks on threadless headsets for 2-1/2 years, the one i used was an "fsa pig unsealed" they are generally under 30 dollars for one they come in black or "silver" which is MUCH MORE polished basically right about near to chrome.

just go to your plain old ace hardware or home depot for some extra axles, because the wheel seems to not stay tightened properly after loosening the axle for the first time, the dimensions for the bolts should be, 8mm diameter by 3-1/4" long

the wheels it comes with are ABSOLUTELY HORRID, so for a good set of metal cores, these will be nice for the back to keep a good amount of strength http://shopecx.com/YAK-Scat-II-Metal-Core-Wheel/M/B002ZXPK50.htm while these will keep the front a bit lighter but still hold a good amount of load http://shopecx.com/Envy-Cross-Wheel-BlueWhite-100mm/M/B004GJASYO.htm

the bearings can range greatly from bad to amazing, from slow to fast these are a good "all around, any level" bearing (pick 8mm) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0047CZRCI/

after this you should be pretty set for a while

if you are a beginner, an all stock ultra pro should last you a while. wait until a part is breaking to replace it.

edit: 2000th post!!!!!

yeah, the new ultra pros are legit as fuck

I feel like I'd be made fun of on a complete stock razor. Tons of kids have like complete District scooters and they can only do tailwhips.. Plus, Im not a fan of the all silver (I know I can paint stuff :p), and the bars are way to high, too lazy to cut them down. And my bike has ODI grips and I love em.

Do you think I should ditch the clamp and Stripper bars and get bar wrap, and cut down the bars, then get maybe new wheels and headset?

who gives a fuck if you get made fun of for having a stock razor? you will be the only person in your group with sense. If i was at your local, id be laughing at the kids with expensive setups that cant do anything with them.
and just change the grips and griptape on the ultra pro and you'll be fine. cutting down bars isnt even that hard btw. dont be a dumbass and spend money on new bars when you can just make good use out of what you already have.

I wouldn't spend money on a new clamp either- the stock one will work just as good.

As already mentioned, spend money on a new headset and it will improve the ride quality so much.

To dial in the stock headset you really need the thin headset wrenches.

You can get the Razor XXX which comes with Metal core wheels

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0..._m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=03MGQ6YN05G2YBDKBXW2

bundle in a set of grips for 108.00 +/-

new headset for 25-30 bux.

READ THIS!
first off that district clamp is oversized and won't fit on standard bars.
please do not get blue grip
you will most likely regret getting strippers as most people do

it will be more important to get new wheels(blunt wheels are not bad for the price)
also a better headset(threadless and sealed! blunt battle headset is good too)
then pick out bars that you like (get them bigger so you can always cut them down and find out how big u like them)

i have a bone stock razor xxx complete, rides like a DREAM, listen to this guy, and here is one thing to know, with the razor xxx model you can actually tighten the bottom locknut/compression ring all the way down and it will still spin also i am running the exact same grips it came with, they are as soft as odi's and feel even better when broken in
