What do people reckon of these bars. There made out of Stainless Steel. There 1 Piace 21 inch high by 20inch wide. Where the grips go they have been shrunken down to 1inch in diameter making the middle bit bigger but alot stronger. Welding is neatly done. Oh and there called Black Black Snapping Turtle Neck Bars. Please comment on them just giving me more ideas on what i should do or shouldn't, telling my point of view I really like them. Also there Not that heavy I was thinkin they were gonna way a bit but they dont.

Updated <<<< Old Keep Going Down

Well many people didn't like the name so i'm going to change it but to what i dont know so please tell me your suggestions also made some slight modifications. I was thinkin of putting reinforcements like the Slayer bars but I really dont like them. Also They are welded and the welding is strong not done by me but by my dad who is a pro welder and been doin it for over 30 years now. If the welds break will update this. There also was a bit of confussion on the sizes which was my fault in the middle its 1 1/2 and where the grips are its now 7/8. I have weighed them yet but i will get around to doing them.

-Shrunk (Where Grips Go) Bars to 7/8 like people said now bar ends can fit in there propely and grips fit perfectly.
-Shrunk right down the bottem where the clamp goes so fits on top of fork very nicely and when done up doesnt move.

Update 2/1/09

If I was to start making these Bars would anybody be intrested in buyin some if so put your name down and if there is enough people i might make some.

This is what crimping is. It like pushes the metal together and goes inwards.

how much do they actually weigh? have you put them on a scale?
Why stainless steel?
Is the cross bar welded to the gussets? or is it just stuck through?

They look really good though. Nice work.

1 inch is to big for crossbar it should be 7/8 of an inch
Are your grips really not going to stretch 1/8" farther?
The only problem it might cause is with push-in bar ends.
