yeah i doubt they will bend
i ride 20 wide seatpost bars
for the metal i used stainless steel, and it is 1" in diameter, and the grips slip on perfect, but anyway, ive been riding these stainless steel 20 wides for about 5 months maybe more, and they havnt bent
love the bars man, proppa nice, look solid, i'd buy em
