Grinds to tricks out

Hey guys I've been having problems with doing tricks out of grinds for ages. Pretty much what happens is when I hop off the rail nothing happens like I just can't throw the trick. Anyone had these problems? And how do I get over them? It's also the same for grind combos eg feeble to smith like I just can't do it. Cheers

Yeah I've just always had problems with stuff like this like I can 180 out of a bs board or feeble but like anything else I just can't do and like when I try to bar out of a boardslide I just can't throw them properly. But I'm definately gonna be practising this stuff more often.

you need to be ready to throw the trick out before your even on the rail, if you're to focused on the grind and getting on the rail you wont be ready to throw the trick out of it. Really you just need to be calm and comfortable with grinding and put your focus on the trick out instead of grinding the rail. thats what always solves the problem for me.

about the feeble to smith thing, how i got it was when i jumped into the feeble i would try to keep my deck close to parallel with the coping (i did my on my grind box, but it may help on the rail idk) than it mid grind you only really have to jump a little bit.

just practice getting steady on your grinds enough that you can jump out of them. its all about being balanced on the rail so you can get a good hop off (and be able to trick). just like learning to jump when you're riding you have to be balanced on the rail, ledge, etc. more practice :)

i would get comfortable with just hopping out of a grind first. make sure that you can do it, get mad height and have control over your scooter. once you can hop out try to squeeze in a barspin, whip, and then just keep on progressing. but like always, practice, practice, practice.

Learn to jump off the grind good so you can get some air before you throw the trick, keep practicing.

If you're grinding on a rail, barspins out are very simple.practice doing barspins at a fast speed so that when you try a bar out on a rail, you can quickly throw it.With barspins out, you dont even need to hop if you grind to the end of the rail, just throw the bars as you slide off the edge

doing tricks out of rail grinds is all about how much rail control you have.. practice doing fs and bs boards until you have so much control with them, that you can do them going really slow. Then work on doing boardslides and then hopping off the end of the rail..

doing whips out is alot easier if you lean in a little more and also when you hop off the end of the rail, pull the whip up higher so it doesnt clip the end of the rail.
goodluck.

Go faster and hop Higher out of the grind.
