try em out first. I rode one guy's bmx for a bit in the park and he had edwins on and I hated them. They were pretty worn down too, and he said he got them a month ago. I would probably go with longnecks as alex said because it looks like he knows his stuff.

Longnecks are the best bar none. They're really soft, and they actually last a while. Go on any BMX site and ask, people will say that Edwins get ripped up really fast, and that's the same with Shadow grips too. So just get Longnecks.

i ride edwins on my bike and theyre fine but my friend has them on his scoot and yea they do get ripped up. i used to ride longnecks and theyre great if you dont ride barends, but it you have barends, especially metal ones, the fly rubens are good cause they gently taper to them and slightly cover some kinds to protects your palms if you ever catch the end of the bar in a barspin. so imo no barends=longnecks, barends=rubens and if you like barends but dont have them or dont like metal ones then get rubens since they come with nylon ones that wont crack like plastic but are soft, but still hold up as good as metal.
