grip tape on brake

say ive tried to put grip tape on my brake but it just wears off in a day i guess from braking because it gets hot, ive seen pictures and a lot of people have grip tape and its not worn down at all..any tips? !dodge

theres no point in having grip on your brake...its a waste of grip

well my foot slips off my brake a lot when i manuel...but if you say so

errr it wears off? You mean get unsticky and come off? IF so, maybe the grip tape you are using has bad adhesives or it is in a angle that its hard to stick well. You know what I mean? I personally don't have my foot slipping from manuals though.

i had the same problem, clean the top of the brake really good then let it dry. Then take your time putting on the grip tape and don't ride your scooter for a while. Do it at night and then go to sleep, wake up and it should not come off.

maybe don't use the brake? i never do, it wore down my wheel hella fast when i did

I have grip tape on my brake fender, I like it alot and it does help, at least for me. But mine doesnt wear off "that" fast, although it wears alot faster than my normal grip tape, I just replaced the fender grip today, I had put it on maybe 4 or 5 weeks ago.

I only ever really put grip on my brake if I have a bit that's spare which I can't use elsewhere or something.

I think he means that when he brakes the brake gets hot and thus melting the grip tape.

I've heard of like bottom fender shit on cars before. Xanavi Nismo R34 GTR has a fender somewhere.Its a Japanese edition of the Nissan Skyline.

Razor call their Pro model breaks '' patented fender break'' I think. Saw it on Razorama.
