grips help

i just brought yak foam grips, just to try something new and they are loose on my bars and throttle windex,hairspray and water all dont work at holding them on and they feel amazing... is there any type of glue i can hold them on with that will allow the grips to still come off when i wear them out???:confused:

it doesnt work. they throttle, if you squeeze hard enough they dont moove but its uncomfortable i want them not too moove, and as i said water doesnt work. is there any type of glue i can use?

It's foam, so super glue could work. Just make sure to get the gel loctite stuff. Make a swirl around the bars and shove the grips on. After that wipe off the rest of the superglue still on the bars.

I would recommend doing some research on the internet or at local bike stores to see if you can get it for cheaper somewhere else but just one thing of it will last you a while you don't need to use much.

Or you can just go to home depot and get some spray adhesive. That's what me and Tanner used to do with our foamies. You just spray it in there and its slick at first so you can slide them on easy, then you let it dry for like 10 minutes and your grips will never move.

Only thing is about glue. you gotta cut your grips off after.

Well that was never really a problem for me cause I rode my grips until they either got worn all the way through, or if they got like completely torn and fell off themselves.
