well first off, so many people are calling bri flips scooterflips nowadays i cant tell what teh hell anyone is talking about. if you mean front scooterflips then yea foam grips spin easier through your hand than rubber, if your talking about bri flips then it shouldnt make a difference

Isnt that obvious that the grips should be grippy? Why the hell would you change bike grips to crap ones just for one trick? Ehh you may either stop caring about the grips and just do it, learn briflips or maybe do what Morgan Wade does for bikeflips; he takes one glove off so the hand is sweaty and he spins it.

Ive just bought myself new bike grips, feels awesome, I immediately got like super consistant whips down stairs and almost dubwhips on flat, Ill have to get used to barspins though as they feel a bit diffrent though.

What I like to do, and I'll give all credit to Erik Anderson, is to wrap duct-tape around the middle of a foam grip, and maybe on the inside where your thumb rubs against the grip, and it prevents the grips from tearing completely, and it makes it easier to scooterflip...

I dont like foam at all... Feels too.... Light. But as for scooterflips, I can only briflip (not because of grips, its becuse of skill :p) and bike grips work fine.
