Don't use anything to scrape it off. I tried to scrame the 3mm of mud on my grip off with a flathead screwdriver and it took the grip right out. Just use a wet cloth the get the mud loose then wipe it off. Cheaper and easier than grip gum.

In England its neraly always wet and muddy, I have to walk over a field to get to the skatepark and even though I wipe my feet my grip gets dirty.

I bought some grip gum and it doesn't do anything. It just smears the dirt so it looks worse! I like using water.

My grip had pretty thick layer of mud on the grip. I kept loosing my footing on threes and once I cleaned it I did one first try. I got brand new grip to put on now so maybe I'll 540 first try!!! So, basically, grip DOES make a difference.

to go little bits of grass and mudd out of your grip is to get an old toothbrush ans scratch it out it works really good
