I've used real griptape for a fingerboard. It hurt.

You can use the grip for stairsets that you can buy from Home Depot or whatever hardware store. That stuff works great and I think it's stickier than normal skateboard griptape.

LOL same here! Exactly about the stair sets tho...Omfg I love there grip, It never dies thru rain or anything.
