if you're close enough to someone else's wireless network you've got to setup a program to run a brute force hack on their WEP key which can take awhile, but if you're not really familiar with computers you probably wont be able to do it.

thats how i use my wireless when its not working.

but you need a wireless thing to do it, and then you search the networks around you.

pick the one with the highest connection and click connect.

have access to someones house that has fast internet?
go to wherever the main line comes in and splice in your own line..run it from their house to yours..bam, fast internet for free.

now for that to work you would have to actually know how to splice it and what not (which I do, only because my dad installs internet and shit for a living) so yea. Try that lol

thats how i get my internet. steal my neighbors wireless internet haha
same haha for a while. rogers shut us off for no reason at all for like 2 months (and made us pay for it - long story short we do not use rogers internet anymore), and during that time I just used my neighbour's wireless.

And the fact that his router might only allows his network cards MAC adress to connect isn't a real problem too :p :)
Really, if someone would try to connect over my wireless I would just smile...
