pump when you get to the tranny, itll transfer your forward momentum into upward momentum alot better than riding fast alone

eric is right, its pump too. when your going down shove with your arm out and down andpush down with your legs. going up kinda lean back and stand up. if you were on a set of rollers you would look like you are always the same height. this really gets shown in BMX racing. look on you tube for the 06 ABA Grand Nationals. if you look at them in the rythem (the last section that has a curve in it) sory to change the subject to bmx. its just pumping tho

pump down the tranny then up it, and hit the coping to air farther out
