well i know i need to get one screw things for the tripod but i need the size
and also need to know about the metal and how long i will be needing
and do i have to smash the metal or what?

1/4 inch diameter and make it as long as u want mine is like 3/4 inch long just bought a 1 inch bolt and cut it off then put a wing nut on it.

take ur camera and just eye it up to see howmuch metal u need. its nots that hard to get a rough estimate

dont film with a handle. it makes it 100 times harder.

Only time you need a handle is for filming in fish. Fish blows.

Get a strip of aluminum, measure from like tripod hole to back, height, and where you want the handle to end at the top, add a half inch to each of those measurements, add them togeather to get your length of metal. Bend the metal, use vice grips, heat guns or whatever you need to do it. Drill a hole and get a bolt that fits in the tripod hole. Its pretty self explanatory. Don't make your handle 5 feet above your camera though, it should only be like an inch above it.

Those handles are way too fucking high. The part your hold should be no higher than like an inch above the camera.

i dont even use the handle for filming fish. it makes the camera rock back and forth

oh and i just decided to start making handles for little kids.. 30 bucks each kiddies! ask erik.. mine are legit and are welded and shit.

The only thing thats gonna make the camera rock back and fourth is your hand... and they make things alot easier if your filming a line with fish. I don't film fish though so whatever.
