my handlbars are being whack. if i tighten the bolts down where the handlebars go on it doesnt turn. if its too lose it moves. now it is making a grinding sound. would the grinding nose be my bearings?

their called nuts. and obviously, too tight it wont move, too lose it will be shaky, you just have to find a happy medium, where theres a reasonable amount of play but still spins good. lube them up nice, the grinding is probably dirt in the bearings

i can't stand gritty bearings!!!! yea just find the mid point between the two and it will be fine

yah i had that problem on my old scooter so i bought a new 1 but that doesnt mean u have to buy a new 1

rinse off the bearings with water or i like to use alcohol (though other people says its bad for the bearings it isnt as long as you dont let them sit forever and you dry them completely before you oil or grease them) then lube them up stick them in and when you tighten the nuts and you find the most comfortable spot for them make sure you tighten the two nuts together nice and hard so they dont come loose but the bars still spin smooth

I hate the way that is set up.. with the 2 nuts like that. Someone (razor...micro...rad...ss) should make it so its just all together or something idk but having to play with the headset to get it perfect is gayyyy.

well i found out that i am missing four balls in the bottom bearing so ima get me new bearings. and i got it set so it spins good. and thank everyone for your help.

thats why you use alcohol, rinse your bearings in a cup for like 30 seconds and you can see the shit come off them, take them out and the rubbing alcohol dries up in another 30 seconds...

FSA Pig Threadless Headset (unsealed) will do you good. Just go down to a local Bike shop and have them install it for about 10-15 bucks. Headset cost about 20-30 depending on the shops retail price. But is THE best aftermarket part you can buy for your scooter. Next to the RAD Handle Bars.

actually yea you are right, its just i recomend pigs because they're cheaper however sky pilots are half the weight
