quit other sports to scoot. I know I quit skating (which I was doing for 2 years) for scootering and proud of it. Its something new and not the norm, which haters love. So whats your story...
i first scootered more of riding around doing simple sh1t like trying to get huge 1 foot manuels and jumping stuff, theni tried skateboarding for 2 months sucked terribly at it... then tried bmx for 5-6months was getting ok at it and i could do 180's and ride fakie, then i decide if i really wanted to get good id have to get into vert on it and i saw scarred and i was like fuck that lol, and then i went back to scootering and i kinda tried stuff but not really then, over the 08 summer i really got way into it going out everyday and doing it, getting ok at it, and now that it is winter and i don't have my license i can basically only scooter in my basement.
well this year i quit cross country after doing it for 3 years, basically to have more riding time.
before i rode scooters i did a lot of curb jumping on my bike like any other kid. there was this barn at the fairgrounds where me and some friends would make jumps and stuff.
I just recently quit BMX, i've been riding for about 5 years. Since i spent to much money on cranks, frames, and shit like that. I don't ride it that much and its just fading away now
