has the ethic artefact been strengthened

as i said earlier i have been out of scootering due to injury for a while and on this link: https://www.gizmania.eu/freestyle-scooter-parts/decks/ethic-artefact-deck-black.html
it claims the artefact is "stronger than the original version", i am not sure how strong it is. i remember when it first came out there were issues with it snapping near the headtube. i am probably thinking of getting this or a v2i in the near future (although if a good deal for another deck pops up i may get that)

I would get a v2i. I prefer it more than the artifact. And also, if you have a basic question, there's no need to create a new thread for it. Just ask the question in "scootgossip" or the "this or that thread"

i wasn't really thinking, also are those threads active as the site seems dead? also i weigh about 70kg's (154 lbs i think) and in the last year have broken an mx 180, v2i, RUP and jd bug deck. i want to try an artefact or the unfair deck as they are lighter and i have not ridden a light deck on my scooter ever really (aside from ultra pro decks which are soo short, my shoe size is like 11/12uk, about 46 EU and 12 or 13 US). however at the moment i have just started riding again as my shoulder is really messed up so i am only riding flat

i kinda feel like a noob again not knowing anything as i have been out of scootering for a few months (not intentionally, it was forced from injury)

thanks for the replies but also neither of you answered the question which was "has the artefact been strengthened", that is why the thread is not 'this or that

no the artefact is just as strong as it used to be. Unfair deck is stronger

i rode mine for 6 months and loved it
do you break parts much? i think i remember you posting that you broke addict decks in a month however as you ride mostly flat (i think) i was just wondering if you break parts much? thanks for answering my questions. also why did you switch?

I brake things aaaall the time, broken 4 addicts, 1 artefact, 1 unfair deck, 2 lindworms etc. For some reason the Ethic Pandemonium is really holding up so if you got the money go for that deck.
I switched beacuse i wanted something bigger, hence the 22x4.8 pandemonium.

wait did your unfair break?? how did it hold up. also as for the pandemonium James webb broke it after like 3 months (on this forum) and it is over twice the price. how do the pandemonium and unfair compare??

thanks for helping me out as almost no one has the unfair deck, i am guessing it is significantly stronger than an artefact right?

yup unfair deck broke after 6 months. I think pandemonium is worth it. It makes every trick atleast 50% easier.

ok i know i am going on and on now but:1. how long did other decks last in comparison (how fast did other decks break) and how did the unfair break, did it snap at the headtube or grind through etc. (do you have a pic in the 'your broken scooter thread')

2.a less important question, how long have you had the pandemonium because as i said james webb broke one in 3 months

3. how does the artefact, v2i and unfair deck compare.

answer these 3 questions and i will be thankfull indeed ;)

Man, all decks are gonna break. If you've been out for a few months, you're not gonna be too hard on the deck. Just chose a deck and ride your scooter. It shouldn't be this complicated.

i hope i wont but after riding for three days i snapped my jd bug (razor pro) reserve deck, i was probably already cracked though. also if the deck was weak and broke fast that would suck

i brake addicts in 3 weeks, lindworms in 2 months, unfair snapped at the back. But all decks snap.

sounds good, may get the unfair then if it lasts longer than a lindworm.

this is completley random and irrelvant but if you mainly ride flat why are all you decks breaking so fast and how on earth has your mgp fork not snapped??
did the unfair snap from lots of grinding?

i think i will get the the unfair though as it sounds nicer to ride than a district and much stronger than an artefact, thanks for the help

I had an unfair for like 4 or 5 months and I really liked it. It had small snaps at the back dropout. But I guess it would still hold up a few months. I just traded it because I wanted to try an other deck. The unfair deck is light, cheap, really balanced, whips good, grinds good.

old mgp werent all that strong, the old batwings were weak, the old decks were strong but they were really heavy so that is why. also i dont think the forks were that strong as many have broken byt maybe the way you ride isnt heavy on forks, for example i dont seem to break bars much.

anyway back on topic thank you and
