HD movie maker?

ok, so i really want my youtube videos to be widescreen. but for some reason, even when i save the video as 16:9, it doesnt show that way on youtube

so, i noticed that HD videos do it, so maybe i could download the a file for HD movie maker?
does anyone know where i can do this?

you try googling it and see what you can find

I got myself banned.
HD footage needs to be in the 16:9 aspect ratio. I dont know if its possible to get SD footage to appear widescreen on youtube because i think the compressor will smoosh it back to 4:3.

well yeah.. like.. i film in 16:9
but for some reason, even when i film in 16:9, and save the vid as 16:9, it still doesnt apper tht way on youtube

I got myself banned.
Im gonna make it plain and simple, i'm pretty sure you can't do it. The only way to make it look 16:9 is to add the black bars on yourself. You need to film in HD or upres your footage with red giant instant HD or something which is gonna look poopy. Your camera isn't really filming true 16:9. Real 16:9 on a video camera requires an anamorphic adapter and squeeze settings.

You would need to change it to 16:9 and change the screen size. If you give me a few minutes I could mess around with WMM and figure it out. I haven't used WMM in over 1 Year though.

hey im actualy been working on this a problem for a while but for a mac and recently have been found a fix. but idk if you on a mac(iMovie)
