if i wanted to make my headset sealed... could i just by the different sealed bearing cages and put them in my cups ( i hav an FSA)

no, i'm pretty sure that wouldn't work and the cup design is different, notice how sealed FSA's are rounded around the cups, and like the bearings fit into the specific grooves. Also your top little bearing shim kinda top cup thing would be different. and plus, sealed headsets don't spin as fast as unsealed so..

but like my fork snapped the other day, and when it did a buch of the balls fell out and i had to hunt for them all, its just a lot of maintnence

if you running a full unsealed FSA system,
then dont.
replace the bottom cup with a stock cup and it will be soo much better. also, that way you can run stock headset balls too.
