headset grease

whats the best grease to use in a unsealed headset, on that makes it spin fast and doesn't freeze up when i gets cold, but makes my scooter solid,
or should i get a sealed headset?

why spend the money?

Any bearing grease. you can find it in home depot or any hardware store.
or even 3 in 1 oil.

I used MTB chain lube with teflon.

Mine is semi sealed though, I probably wouldn't use it on an un sealed headset.

Um, yeah. lol. I guess you don't have to but it won't work smooth and it will fuck up easy. Also grease protects the ball bearings from water

i soak my bearings in gasoline then i use this white gun grease. you cant really get it though because its military issued but if you can its amazing

Metal + metal = friction

Grease is used to keep friction to a minimum

Get lube that is made for headsets at a bike shop. And when its cold, keep your scooter inside.
