headset installation/removal instructions?

i know it's best to just go to a bike shop for this, but i need to know how to remove the bearing cups from my headtube, and install them onto my ultra pro when i receive it.

what works best for hammering them in/out? how do you guys do it? helppppp lol

installing cups- put a block of wood over the cup and hit it with a hammer.
removing- from the inside of the headtube, put a flathead on the cups and hit the flathead with a hammer

I guess for the removing part, working in a circular motion is the best way? and thanks for the quick reply :]

but use wd40 if you cant get them out at first. they seem to come out eisier wif wd40

dont use a flathead screwdriver use one of them old handle bar things off of the stock bars

yea, just make sure u hit the cups in all different spots.

What everyone said is all you need to do, but id be careful with wd40 because you dont want it in your headset.

and to put it on try making a press but hammering is faster
and grease the press a shit-tone cuz it might strip
