Headset Problem.

Ya, I searched.

So I have an fsa pig sealed headset and ive been riding it for about 3 months and i decided to tighten my compression bolt while i was changing a wheel. i could tighten it a lot so i did. i think i might have tightened it to much because when i turn the bars about 90 degrees they make this lound popping noise. it only happens if you turn kind of slow, like when im riding. it doesnt make it on barspins and whips etc. I greased my headset and loostend the compression and it still makes the noise. I really need help.

If it's sealed you could have popped your bearings out of place.

Or you could have mis-aligned the plastic junk that holds the top cup on the inner ring(that makes no sence) still just try taking the whole thing apart and making sure everything is aligned, also check your crownrace hasn't misaligned and that you havent broken the plastic spacer in the top cup(if it's still plastic in that model).

sometimes the little balls fall out if they do put them back in and squeze the little socket they are in
