Headset problem.

I just got a FSA Pig headset from my local bike shop. and i assembled the whole thing and got it on my fork and the cups in my headtube. i was riding it and i tested it out and like after a minute it started squeeking when i spun the bars. another problem im having is when i was trying to take appart the headset to see what was causing the squeeking, the compression ring is stuck and i cant get it out. i cant get anything out cuz its stuck. plz help me!

how did you put it in? with a headset press?

i used a hammer and a piece of wood and i didnt bend it

you probs installed it wrong. wen i first installed my fsa impact headset (first sealed headset) i put the bottom headset bit and the little metal ring in wrong which made my headset sieze up and wen i pulled it apart the little metal ring bit was jammed in the cup but if u install it all correctly and put a bit of grease on the bearings it should be right

mabey have the bike shop you got it from install it for you in the begining but know your probily going to have to take it to them and let them fix it because inless you take pics we cant see whats the problem

well i think i just installed wrong im not to sure what way to put bearings and rubber rings
