ok i have seen the old headset thread, but it didnt help me. i have just bought a pro model, and the headset is very crappy, i spin the bars and it doesent even go around once. i know i need to take out the bearings and grease them up, but with what kind of grease?, and how do i take it apart, i have no idea what to do. thank you for your help.

first just loosen the clamp right above the headset, that could be your problem. if not, take the bearings out, clean them with wd40, then just put whatever kind of lube you have in the head cups and put the bearings back in, then make sure u dont tighten the clamp all the way.

I dont think that clamp has anything to do with how fast the deck spins? Dosnt that just keep the tube from spinning around?

But yeah WD-40 them to clean them out, then just use some normal household oil to grease them up

you just need to lossen the little spinny thingys above the fork so that there not all the way tight then it should spin....otherwise wd-40 em up

Loosen up your compression ring/bearing race (above your fork) and if that still dosent work, lube/cleen them

you can also take off the little cup that covers the bearings. if the cup is bent at all it will rub against the headset and will slow the bars down. so just take off the lower nut and bang off the cup and screw it back on. and to take it off you unscrew the clamp at the top and pull the t tube off. then you unscrew the two nuts and you're set. but yeah it could also just be that those two nuts are too tight in which case just loosen them a bit
