I think I'm going to buy an unsealed FSA Pig and use the stock bottom orr.. get a solid headset, although its a bit pricey. Although I mite get the Cane Creek S8. Whats the best choice to run on SR forks?

S8 100%. It's the smoothest headset I've ever used and it doesn't wiggle at all. Best investment in a scooter part ever.

my best investment was the solid headset...its amazing and spins faster than a sealed but a little slower than a unsealed...i can still do dub b spins on it no problem...so its perfect! whips fast to

dude the bearings are more then sex...more than sex on the beach....more than sex on a sandy beach on the moon....they are like....this pen that says my name on that i am holding in my hand....

haha yea but anyway....

they are amazing it took like no time at all to wear them in...a few hours of riding...i love it.. no wobbles, NO noise, pretty fast, VERY smooth....i lurve it.... you will to

Well I got my Solid Headset today thought I'd do another little reivew presonally for it :)

Solid Bikes Headset (Needle Bearings)

Pros.

  • Sex

  • Sex

  • Little more Sex

  • Spins awsome not even worn in yet

  • Quiet

  • Smooth

  • Best in the whole entire world much recomended :)

  • Oh and more Sex

Cons.

  • Fuck you

yeah but Im broke and I have gift certificates for that shop =)
should I take it back before installation and ask them to order some fsas?

its so shitty that it broke today. just some stupid mellow garage riding... the lower bearing cage is totally f---ed... now it barely spins. Ill have to take my scoot apart and take a look. then all the bearing balls will come out and Ill be totally pissed. oh well maybye Im stupid and I dont know how to install my cups but they are straight so I dont know what happened. I dont recommend this headset... you can still try it out though.
