headset ring lost!

i have a cane creek s1 threadless headset, i just lost the blue ring that u put in it! what do i do!?!

ya that one, u put it in the top headset bearing between the fork and the top bearing

you might have to buy a new one that helps the heaset run smoothly

I had the same problem. A bike shop sold me a headset that didnt even have the ring in the box...
I went to 3 bike shops and none of them would give me just that piece. So youre best bet would be to find a friend that has some extra headset parts. Or try a bike shop, they might hook you up.

yer, ou would have to be pretty lucky (or have a really good bike shop) to get one peice of the headset without paying for the whole thing
