why do you have to buy headset when you shall you an SR fork?? And can someone help me getting a 3D drawing software???(not google sketchUp.) Shall draw parts

can you use a non-threaded headset on a threaded fork??? Another drawing software google sketchUp dosen't work.=)

okay, on SR forks there is threaded SR forks, and threadless SR forks.
a stock headset is threaded (you have to screw in the nuts towards the head tube to tighten it, ect.)
and on a threadless sr fork, theres nothing a stock headset can screw onto because theres no threads.
SR made their forks threadless not because they want you to spend more money, or because they look cooler its because when forks are threaded, your bars have something to grip onto (the threads) and without these threads the bars have more trouble grabbing the fork so it wont break as easily. Since you cant tighten anything on the outside of the fork, SR designed the fork the be tighten on the inside. using a starnut on the inside of your bars, and a long bolt on the bottom of your fork through up the inside of the threadless fork. this, causing it to be able to be tightened just as good.
oh, and next time just search.
