well if you have the extra money deffently go with sealed, longger lasting smoother, and overall just better, but no matter what your going to want to get a headset upgrade from stock

My sealed was great the day I got it, faster, smoother and quieter than my unsealed, and a millon times easier to work with. But I have 20 wide Rads and bar ends so I guess my bars are pretty heavy.

I've been rinning a sealed for a while now... only the bottom cup though, still spins smoothly and hella fast.

P.S nice 10 stair flip!!!

needs to break in

if you have some extra cash and wanna headset that is strong smooth and low maintenance then go sealed. if you dont have much money or want a headset that you dont mind cleaning ever once in a while that spins good out of the box then go unsealed.

Get a sealed bottom cup unsealed top cup if you can.

best idea ever.

i run a primo sealed bottom cup with a unsealed top cup with 24steven ceramic bearings, best i've ever had.

unsealed are shit especially FSA pigs at the start but, if you open it up you grease it with boating grease or something and it spins hella good but i popped my sealed from tightening it to much but then put the old pro stock headset and put those bearings in with it and it span like fuken crazy
