Hi Scooter resource. Its been many years since I have graced your forums.
For those of you who don't know who I am. My name is Ethan Hong, I am a scooter rider from Australia, I've travelled but I'll be happy to caim the spot as rider representing the small state of Tasmania. I have been riding for like 7 years now, and back in the day I used to be pretty good. I've worked in a scooter shop and have done alot of cool things. I have been sponsored twice and even rode in the same scooter team as brendon smith before he got on blunt.
I have ridden with alot of queensland riders and alot of sydney riders hell I have even ridden with alot of the big names in melbourne. and I have met people from the US and the UK through the sport. And have ridden with the Razor team, Madd gear, Blunt, District, the Beastie team, some of the Addict riders and the list goes on.
I like to ride street style with a couple of park bangers, and I am finally nearly recovered from a motorcycle accident which broke both my ankles.
Now I'll always be riding with ankle braces and will probably never be able to do massive drops.
But after a year or so of dropping the sport, something always brings me back to it. I love scooters. I don't care if I'm sponsored or not, or who I'm doing it with. It is something that will follow me every single day.
I have just bought an Custom complete with an Addict deck, Nesta forks and District bars from skater HQ... I am so keen to start riding again its insane... Its like there is a horrible itch that will only be scratched once I am back on my own deck with the inch that seperated the wheels and the ground beneath my feet.
For those that dont know.... My favourite tricks are triple whips and frontflips. I used to have them both flat.
I am 21 now and a little while ago I finally realised what my life dream was, and that is to learn even more about and ride scooters with the coolest people, all over the world. Then I want to get into the industry somehow. But that is a different story, Right now I just want to ride!
