how will that help? surley using it would make it less springy thus making it easyer to put in.
What I do.
Use a brand new spring. Put the bolt through the scooter, and one side of the brake, but don't have it coming through the middle at all.
I like to use the tip of a socket wrench, and push on the spring. Because if you push with your fingers its almost impossible. But yeah when you push it with that, get the bolt through completely. That's the easy part, it's a bitch gettin the bolt through the other side of the scooter.

Yeah I work on everybody's brakes at my local lol.
