(help) Guides to making own parts!

Ive been looking all around the internet for ways to make your own parts, I cant seem to find any good ones, so please help!

im gonna guess you judging from how u started that sentence
but seriously work it out just get all the materials and cut them to shape and weld it together and if it dosent work learn from your mistakes and try get them right them next time

i made my own bars for a while, and i tried using someone elses plans the posted and it got all muffed up. i did it my own way and its so much better

Have to agree with this. If people need to ask how to make parts it's probably above their head as most scooter parts are self explanatory. You need verniers if you plan on machining and raw metal of course. If you just fab some stuff a tape measure, square, drill press, welder, and materials will do wonders. You should be able to get the plan from measuring off of your scoot and looking at pictures.

well nevermind i just went to the local hard ware store and just welded and buidled some shit and made some pretty sick bars

You did it at the hardware store? or did you get the stuff from the hardware store and make them at home?

ill post em in the morning, and i bought some metal tubing and went home and did it.

dude i agree with this guy you need to know like wall thickness and stuff. like what inside diameter is for the bars and outside for the crossbar but yeah you should just try it and see how it goes.

So you bought the correct size tubing for bars at a hardware store? I'll believe it when i see it I guess.

I know you can figure out the correct size of tubing required. What I questioned is the fact that a hardware store caries metal tubing in those sized. And tubing is not the same as pipe. I have seen plenty of pipe at hardware stores but at limited sizes and no large diameter tubing.
