HELP : i just got a headset and wondered...

i just got a headset and wondered is it ment to have a bit of a gap if you put the headset on your fork ? I know this is hard to understnad so ill try and explain it a bit more...

Youve got your headset...

you place the bottom part of the headset on the fork

the headset moves slightly from left to right

do you think i need a smaller size or is this ment to happen ?

u dont need it
use the fork tightner ring that i screw on the forks
not the headset one jus the ring and that shud make it hav no play
