I have a pair of SR threaded forks, but want to make them threadless...can some one help me? Do i just cut where the threads start and weld a threadless tube onto it or what?

Cut at the spot where the split-point would be between the top and bottom headset cups. If the split-point is too high, then it will break. And make sure it's straight and TIG-welding is highly-suggested.

That will prolly work, while i was putting my bars on my inwards yesterday i put the bars on wrong so i pulled it out and half of the threads are smooth and others are like bumpy

(Cation noooooob question)
What so bad about thread forks?
You can use a threadless headset and if you ever go back to threaded it wouldn't be a problem!?
Even if the wall thickness is thinner, just ride it till it snaps!

If you have an old stock fork and send both to inward we will weld it and include a reinfocement for $ 15 incuding shipping back to you. You pay for the shipping to Inward. Email me at jp@inward-scooters.com if you are interested. We have fixed many broken SR forks. Your total cost is about $ 20.
