* Additional comments:
Since I suggested two rails at the bottom, there should be enough ground clearance so that fisheyes wouldn't get demolished. Also the baseplate must be filled with holes in order to fit diffirent models with diffirent lenghts between the female insert to the front and rear edges of the given camera, regardless how big is the battery on that item. Also, another idea: to make another threaded insert into the bottom of the handle, so you could put the handle on any tripod: so in case you would have to take your camera off a tripod then it would already have the handle on it and save time.
