Help me with this effects video

I got myself banned.
Film red and purple lights.

Im not sure what Vegas' layout is like, but you would put your footage on v1, lights on v2, and dissolve them in and out with the opacity lowered to like 40%... its actually kind of self explanatory. IMO it just looks like some shitty film burns.

Well, thats probably what they did... This is sketchy as ----- but i know there is some kind of controller for Christmas lights to make them strobe, switch on and off, whatever... but they probably did something like that, filmed them, zoomed in, out of focus, than did what i described in their editing program. Its just the red and purple light footage overlaying the skating footage. There isn't any easier way to do it other than finding the red and purple b roll they used to do the supers with.

Let Sam give you a second opinion though, if he sees this.

Film burns are seriously overrated. Now EVERYBODY does them.
Just my opinion though, i'm sorry i can't help with the issue.
