HELP NEEDED on a special brake mod...

for a little while now iv wanted to go brakeless but i know cus i ride ski my foot will get jammed in the wheel,
iv thought about putting like a cover over my wheel where my brake would go but have side plates aswell so
my foot wouldnt get jammed in it. i need to know how i would weld it ( what type of weld ) or if it just wouldnt work all together?

you will have to make it out of the same aluminium as your deck. And just take it to a welder. Or you have a TIG welding machine at home, but I guess not, so just take it to a welder. should be fine.

im pretty sure you can weld aluminium to any other type of aluminium, atleast you can weld chromoly to dom steel

you should just weld on the stock brake. works terrific, no wiggle, no wearing wheels and it looks better that brakless.

or put a bolt through the brake so it cant go down.

like its resting on the deck (the bolt)

put to side plates on the brake and mig or tig it
to the deck and the brake and no it doesnt have to
be the same type of aluminium

i was thinking about that but i cut my brake down really short and i just feel like doing it the hard way

just go brakeless your foot doesnt get jammed in the wheel the wheel just slides on your foot if you hit it and like slows you down a little bit but after a little bit you get use to keeping your feet away from it

i do alot of fakies and i ride ski, while i ride, i hug my brake with my feet, so ill do that in the wheel and die
