First of all, you need threadless forks(Phoenix Phorx), threadless headset(Blunt Battle Headset) and a compression system (Proto SCS)

Instead of a locknut, the compression pulls the fork up which makes the compression tight and with no wobble.

With tailwhips just try to do it off a ramp and once u have the motion and how to land it then dou it on street

like he said you need threadless forks compression and headset. theres more than one fork then phorx and if you look around on here you can find everything you need relativley cheap. and in pretty good condition. theres 2 types of compression. one is scs and the other is hic. with scs the bars sit on top of the forks and with hic the bars sit over the hic kit and forks. with tailwhips try to kick a little harder and use your wrist a little more. depending on the kind of person you are you can hop higher but sometimes it just wont help

theres also ihc which would work with his bars where as hic wouldnt, also ics would work, if hes only beginning theres no need to confuse him with scs hes better off to get a pair of ihc envy forks which will come with the ihc compression and a threadless headset of his choice.

the cheapest way to run compression on youre scooter is:
get a threadless headset
get threadless forks
get a ics compression kit,
approx $150 or so, plus you need help putting in the starnut.

and tailwhips....... team eds are pree heavy for beginners, id do it on a rup, and id do it off a small ledge, also, practice every part of it induvidually, practice practice practice practice.... simple.
