Im from the UK and these are the best website so far.

17 is not too late...
if your starting get the mgp nitro. its really strong and a good first scooter. the bars come high so if your tall they will be all good. i sugest if your riding on wood (indoor skateparks) get new wheels because they slide out... get eagle sport or proto grippers. =)

I haven't really got that much money mate if i sell my board i might get around £50 then ill have to save but im in college with no job so is'nt the Razor any good. Thanks

go for a razor ultra pro, they cost more but they are way stronger lighter and come with one piece bars and fairly fast bearings, good stating scooter

if you get a razor pro your only gonna sell it later so may as well get a good one that will last

Razor ultra pro is definitely best for a beginner. It will last you quite a while if your just starting before anything should have to be replaced. The only things i can recommend doing to it is new griptape, and grips, because im fairly sure they both suck. Cutting the bars to your preferred width and height, and hot gluing the wheels (wich you can look up how to do using the search bar on these forums).

+1 for the razor ultra pro, im started at 16 and loving it (only been in the sport 4 months)

www.skatehut.co.uk is where I orderd mine from (and all my other parts (except grips))

and there is no age that is to late to start :)

where in the UK you from?

Yeah I have been riding RUP Lo for a few months now and it is working great and I mostly do big stairs. Only thing about it that bothers me is that the headset gets all loose and shit. Even though I tighten it up and all that. Any tips on that maybe? Sorry for going off topic, hah
But yes, definitely recommend it.

What in hell makes you think that? I've been riding my RUP since they came out. The original one aswell. All I've changed is the fork and wheels.
