Help please.

So im running an SCS with a Smx fork. I used to use a striker but I sold it. Anyways the problem is, is that whenever I tighten my headset it's only tight for a couple hours of riding, if that. When I used my striker, my headset would almost always stay tight. This is really starting to piss me off since I have to tighten my headset every time I want to ride. So does anybody have any ideas of why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Are the forks brand new that may be why its still like adjusting it did it to my friends

tighten it up, take rubber mallet and bang the scs down then tighten ur compression again.
Locktite also works.

No, their a couple months old. and ill try doing the mallet thing. thanks guys

I remember hearing something about Starnuts coming out of SMX's easy, cant really remember though..

really? thats weird because just last week my starnut ripped in half out of my fork when I was tightening it.
