Help to get a competition in Fresno, CA

It would be great if people could get together with a couple sponsors to get a contest in Fresno to get scooter riders recognized. It could possibly lead to a couple parks opening their doors to us that havn't before. Kaiser Skatepark would be the ideal place due to the fact they already allow us to ride there and they are always open.

Well i know, its the front page of Scooter Resource. San Diego is too far when there already is a considerable amount of riders in the area.

Barstow is about 4 1/2 hours south east of Fresno.

Thats what I'm saying. San Diego is a great place to have a competition to people who live close to that area. But Fresno is a huge city that should have a contest of its own so that we get recognized as our own sport that should be able to get park privileges like Bmx and Skateboarding.

honestly i am doing the same thing with scooters in Ontario Canada right now, nobody really rides compared to USA or anywhere else. so i asked the park owner (indoor) to host a comp and he let me, then i made a flyer. got sponsors and they sent me prizes. right now i have lots of prizes in my room and banners. hopefully the comp goes well its this saturday and we can get scooters more recognized.

Kaiser is way worth the drive! ITS AWESOME! We have an indoor park up in oakhurst called the Sanctuary, its a little out of the way for people in Fresno but I'm going to do the same thing now. Thanks for the idea!

Ya well theres never comps in NJ except TIC and there was one at shields recently in CA theres like 100
