Help with building a rail

so instead of that, if you want it 2 inches shorter, then cut two at 6 1/2" and two at 5". but 10 inches is a pretty good size dude, 8 inches might be easier at first but it will get boring after you get good, because it'll be so easy. my rail is 15 inches high and round, so it's always a challenge ;)

But if one is 7+ the 2x4 and one at 8.5on the ground wouldn't the ends be half an inch taller that the middle two?

its not worth building a rail if its less than 12" tall. 16"-18" is perfect for like a fun rail once you get comfortable with it.

unfortunatly i do not have "hep greg" hops:( but if i followed the plans on the site would it work? because i am still confused about how 7+2=8.5

just subtract 2 inches from the beams that make it taller. it's not that hard. and i agree with greg, my rail is 15" and although if you're just learning to do rails it's really hard, once you get comfortable they're really fun. you can also get a razor punk rail on amazon for like 15 bucks and it will be a good starter rail until you're ready for bigger ones.

I built a rail that's pretty damn low and although it's good to learn stuff on it gets kind of old. Challenge yourself.

It requires actually looking at the drawing :)

the two 4x4 on the ends have a 2x4 on the top and bottom

the two 4x4 in the middle do not have a 2x4 on the bottom
