Help with cameras

Hi, I know nothing about camera's and not sure what I should be looking for, the little digital camera I have now isn't very good and was very cheap, so looking to buy a proper camcorder so I can get some vids and stuff out.

What should I be looking for, anything, I have no clue.

I have looked through the forums, but couldn't find much, and what I did find was old.

So any help is needed..........alot.

Also, I don't want anything too big, something small and compact.

well i was in the same situation as you.. i got a panasonic NV-GS25.. it has done everything i wanted and more. its small compact and cheap.. so that mite giv u an idea..

Is that like a minidv thing or something?? Should I be looking for something like that then?

Please tell me what you think, I don't really have that much money, so nothing over Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?£150 which is around $250 to americans and around $350 australian dollars if that helps.

i think thats basically all you need..

i myself wouldnt dare buying something like that off ebay but its ur choice.. but the thing is if you wanted to buy a video camera for $550 AU$ you probably wont get anything..

but yes that product on ebay is all you need
