Eh, from the start of this thread it was clear that sex was the issue, but I didn't want to be the one that brings that up. As for chrisitian sex morals, they're pretty absurd, but let me tell you why. In medieval times, the church was responsible for setting up life attitudes for everyone in Europe. So let's see: scientific progress is a threat for the religion so people should just work as much as possible to so the social system would not collapse. "Ora et labora". How did they do that? Let's see: some say that everything that's exciting and good in life has to be unhealthy: smoking, drinking, drugs, fat food, extreme sports, etc. So there's the limitation. On the other hand, SEX is the only thing that is both exciting AND healthy (actually makes your body function a lot better). Therefore, they made up absurd laws prohibiting sex in any other form than in marriage only to make pregnancy possible.
Today, however, the situation is different. I'm not saying that people should have sex 24h a day but everyone should limit oneself personally, according to his social and emotional capabilities, his/her partner.
Sexual life is a zone of highest privacy. No superior authority should put any limit on this.
Another thing - contraception. Prohibited because of what? You're not showing the love approach to a child that's supposed to be born because you don't really want any? What about not showing love affection to the real existing grown up person you love when he/she demands it and you're abstinent? Isn't that a lot worse?
Edit: Now that I see it, someone could read what I wrote in bold and be like 'So you thing pedophilia should be allowed?'. Not really. What I wrote applies to mature people, there's a different point in everyone's life when one should be considered mature, which depends on individual characteristics such as the body, emotionality, the society. It's just that young people shouldn't be abused because of their immaturity (on the other hand, age of consent at 18 in some states is crazy, Im 19 and Ive been dating 17 year olds quite recently, does that make me a pedophile?).
On a side note, me and Zack should just switch places. Ive always been in good schools, and thus, Ive never witnessed any sexual pressure put on anyone by the teenager society, while Im sure that anywhere else the effect Im talking about is 100% common. The effect is that any girls that don't seem dumb and worthless have morals high enough not to be interested in sex whatsoever.
